#Oh Martha Jones #You brilliant wonderful woman #Life is hard for you: you’re working as a maid in 1913 during an extremely racist time period #You’re watching as the man you love falls in love with another woman #You’re watching as he talks down to you because in his mind he’s just ‘putting you in your place’ #But instead of getting angry #Instead of giving John Smith a piece of your mind #You stay quiet and follow the Doctor’s orders #Because as much as it hurts you you still put the Doctor’s needs ahead of your own #You do everything that he asked of you and you don’t even complain after its done #And in the midst of everything you still make time to visit the TARDIS #so she doesn’t get lonely #Even if you don’t quite believe in her sentience - you still show up and keep the TARDIS company #Not many people show that level of compassion #ugh I live such a Martha Jones appreciation life #MARTHA JONES YOU ARE A FUCKING STAR
