Worst Nightmare Realized of the Day: A South African couple in the family way discovered something recently that could put a dent in their plans to get married: They are actualy brother and sister.
The siblings lived in separate houses 50 miles apart, and grew up never knowing about each other. A bad divorce had led their parents to sever all ties.
It was only after the families of the two lovebirds got together to perform a local pre-marriage custom that the truth became known.
“When I first saw him, we connected,” said the unidentified woman. “We fell in love and since that day, we never looked back. All we wanted to do was just to have a family and many kids.”
The pair have since split, but, unlike their parents, are keeping in touch for the sake of their child. Said the woman: “We do not know what we will tell him when he grows up.”
